MIP 2017 // JUNE 25-30
Each Summer our students (Rising 8th graders through 12th graders) are able to participate in a week of "paying it forward" to the local community. MIP week is a unique opportunity where students serve the community and reach out to local families. We feed the homeless through His Place Ministries and host a weeklong Vacation Bible School for underpriviledged children at a local church. Students break into teams and work on homes and other churches throughout the community that are in need of repair and a fresh coat of paint. Every evening, we meet back at the church to eat, fellowship, worship and hear a missionary message. We are exhausted...so we settle in for the night in separate guy's or girl's designated dorm rooms.
This mission costs $220. Funds are to be raised through mission support. Mission packets are available in the church office. Missionaries must attend a mandatory meeting on June 21st at 12:15 in the church Fellowship Hall. See you there!
