Fine Sounding Arguments

The Apostle Paul sent a warning out from prison to the believers in Colosse... Watch out for the deception of those with "Fine Sounding Arguments." There were con men at work and what they said might sound very reasonable, but it wasn't true.  Part of our human problem is that we often look for an alternative doctrine or worldview that will suit our own desires. Paul was focused on pouring wisdom and understanding into the believers so that they wouldn't be taken in by spiritual charlatans.
